World Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra Japa Yajna

Dear yogis and yoginis all over the world Hari Om!
The purpose of this very simple web site is to organize Global International 24 hour non-stop Japa Yajnas of Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra, using the medium of the internet. These Yajnas are done to send good energy all around the world and help needy people.

Participants are required, all together, to cover with the repetition of the mantra the 24 hours of the fixed day, from 00.00 to 24.00 GMT, each one repeating for just a bit of the 24 hours.

Next Japa Yajna will be held
on Saturday, November 13th, 2010. It will be dedicated primarily to peace and consciousness upliftment in Iran.

If you are interested in participating in this event, just click here    to send an e-mail.
Please communicate: your name or spiritual name, or nickname if you prefer; your town/city and country; the period you think you'll repeat the mantra in your local time - possibly also in GMT - and the number of people involved.
You can also use this form to send your mail.

If you wish you can also suggest a generic aim for the Yajna. All suggested aims are listed
here.

In this page you will find the timetable with the japa commitments of those who have decided to participate in this event. Click here if you want to see participants and aims of past Yajnas.

Please note e-mail addresses will not be published or used (apart from sending news about future Yajnas; this means 1 mail once a year, only if
you wish to be informed, of course).
Be also aware please these Mantra Japa Yajnas are not addressed to yoga beginners.

This initiative is not linked to any yoga school or tradition, just like Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra does not belong, as far as I know, to any particular school or tradition, though it is chanted in so many yoga centers in the world.

Global International Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra Japa Yajnas were in the past also organized by the members of the Divine Life Society, but it now seems they have given up. If you want to have a look at their site visit this page: www.divinelifesociety.org

This site is not published to give information about yoga, chakras, sanskrit, etc, etc; the only aim is to organize Yajnas. Nevertheless just few information is available in the following pages:

Can anyone translate the few pages of this site in other languages? Any suggestion to make this site better (but always fastly accessible)? Any broken link?
Just send a mail!      Thanks!
